The entrance faces south, is 20 m wide and has 3 m of depth. Inside there is up to 3 m of depth. At night the entrance is marked by a red light, Fl(2)R 8s, at the end of the W jetty and a green light, Fl(2)G 8s, at the end of the E jetty. Today the tide rises and falls 3.3 m at Pasajes, the nearest reference port.
