The entrance has 4 m of depth. Inside there is up to 3 m of depth. At night the entrance is marked by a red light, Fl(3)R 9s, at the S end of the Ramal quay and a green light, Fl(2+1)G 14.5s, at the N end of the slipway. Today the tide rises and falls 2.8 m.
