Access and approach
The entrance has 4.5 m of depth. Inside there is up to 3.5 m of depth. At night the entrance is marked by a red light, OcR 4s, at the end of the Poniente breakwater and a green light, Fl(2)G 7s, at the end of the jetty. Today the tide rises and falls 2.5 m at El Puerto de Santa María, the nearest reference port.
