Access and approach
Inside there is up to 2.5 m of depth. At night the entrance is marked by a red light, Fl(2)R 6s, at the end of the Santa Catalina breakwater and a green light, Fl(3)G 10s, at the end of the Fomento mole. Today the tide rises and falls 3.2 m at Gijón, the nearest reference port.
