Inside there is up to 2 m of depth. At night the entrance is marked by a red light, Fl(2)R 7s, at the S end of the quay and a green light, FlG 5s, at the end of the N breakwater. Today the tide rises and falls 3.1 m at Cudillero, the nearest reference port.
