At night the entrance is marked by a red light, Fl(2+1)R 10s, at “Espigón de Churruca, Tramo sumergido, Extremo, Boya 'C' Mojijonera” and a green light, Oc(2)G 7s, at “Dársena de Lanchas, Extremo”. Today the tide rises and falls 3.2 m at Bilbao, the nearest reference port.
